Buying BNB without setting up a full exchange account — is it doable?

My situation is pretty simple, I just need some BNB to cover gas fees on a few transactions and I really don't want to go through full onboarding somewhere just for that. Every time I look this up I end up on some comparison site that's clearly just pushing affiliate links without any real testing behind it. Anyone here actually bought BNB recently through something that doesn't require you to jump through hoops?
