What

I will continue to maintain Monero Observer (https://monero.observer) for the next 3 months (winter 2022/23): December, January and February.

Tasks:

• Daily: search, curate, structure and post new reports/stories
• Daily: update reports, stats, changelog, version control
• Daily/As Needed: post new MO Community Messages
• Daily/As Needed: post new MO Resources
• Daily/As Needed: post new MO Calendar Events
• Weekly (Sunday): publish the Monero Dev Activity Report
• Weekly (Saturday): publish the MO Artistic Saturday Top 5 Report
• (Bi)Weekly (Monday): publish the MO Cypherpunk Transmission Report
• Monthly (1st): publish the MO Blitz Report
• As Needed: housekeeping (revise and update reports)
• As Needed: outreach (engage with the community on Matrix, Reddit, XMPP, emails)
• As Needed: make sure the website is live and working as expected (server maintenance, billing, etc)
• Optional/bonus: publish new Monero and privacy related guides, meeting logs and summaries, add new features, improvements and website sections, start new community initiatives

Proposal

I will work for 25 hours per week over 3 months at a rate of 0.13 XMR / hour. At $135 / XMR (21 daily EMA) this makes 39 XMR (0.13 * 100 * 3).

Whats the deal with the footnote links? sometimes they work.. sometimes not. Have you made a personal decision to not directly link sites if they don't meet a certain criteria? (i don't know - but some people would like them all to work)

Would you consider increasing the funding rate in exchange for maintaining a dark mode?

I'm not sure how hard this would be, given that there is no JS. Maybe it could be implemented like LocalMonero's no-JS toggle which redirects you to a static /nojs/ page, but instead here it would be a Dark toggle that redirects to something like monero.observer/dark/ (a symlink/clone of the regular page but with a different CSS file?). All the hyperlinks would have to know to link to a /dark/ version too, e.g: monero.observer/about/ -> monero.observer/dark/about/.

My eyes would be very thankful, especially in the morning.

MO continue to provide a great service. The Cypherpunk Transmission Reports are a nice addition.
