What the proposal is about

This project is a dual initiative designed to solve the problem of information fragmentation in the Monero ecosystem:

  1. Monero Magazine (The Creative Engine): A high-quality digital publication released 4 times per month (weekly). The goal is to make Monero news "ludic" (playful) and visually engaging. It’s not just about reporting; it’s about storytelling that onboards new users and keeps the community excited and loyal through regular, professional editions.

  2. Monero News App (The Distribution Hub): A privacy-first mobile-web PWA that aggregates all major ecosystem media (Monero Magazine, The Monero Moon, Revuo, and video content).

    • Privacy First: No login required to browse.
    • Community-Led: A moderated portal allows anyone to submit content to be featured on the homepage.
    • Scalable: Optional features for power users will be added without compromising the experience of anonymous users.

Who will complete the proposal?

I am Ordilovers [Monero Magazine]. Passionate about cryptocurrencies and a firm believer in Satoshi’s original vision, I see Monero as its most faithful realization. I will be managing the editorial direction of the magazine and the development of the platform, collaborating with external developers and dedicated moderators.

Why it is important for Monero and the community

While the information exists, it is scattered and sometimes dry.

  • The Magazine provides a recurring "appointment" for the community, turning complex updates into accessible, playful content that can be easily shared to onboard outsiders.
  • The App provides the infrastructure to ensure this content—and that of other creators—is always at the user's fingertips without tracking them. Together, they create a professional media presence that reflects the maturity and strength of the Monero ecosystem.

Your milestones and projected timeline

  • Milestone 1 (Months 1-3): Launch of the PWA (Web App) and production of the first 12 weekly issues of Monero Magazine.
  • Milestone 2 (Months 4-6): App maintenance/optimization and production of the next 12 weekly issues of Monero Magazine.
  • Milestone 3 (Months 7-9): Deployment of advanced moderation tools for community submissions and 12 weekly issues of Monero Magazine.
  • Milestone 4 (Months 10-12): Integration of new community features and final 12 weekly issues of Monero Magazine.
