Who

I'm asymptotically, I made some minor contributions to getmonero.org, built monero.win, and mostly annoy help people in the #monero-pools IRC channel. I now run The Monero Wiki.

What

Hosting

Currently the site's performance is quite poor. I'd like to switch to a more robust hosting setup so that visitors aren't waiting hours for the page to load. I estimate the monthly cost after these changes to be €29/month.

Bounty

I think that it would be cool to set bounties on different pieces of content to reward contributors, e.g. a small amount of XMR for writing a short guide on running a public remote node, or for documenting all of the RPC methods. The amount of 2 XMR is totally arbitrary and the list of topics is not yet decided.

This is important work that deserves some real attention. Monero documentation is kind of lacking and I think a wiki would be a great addition to the documentation that's already out there. Especially if someone is willing and able to keep it up to date and nicely organized

I would donate to a community hosted wiki. Nice one!

Just changed the funding amount (not sure what I was doing when I worked it out previously, but the XMR/EUR conversion went very wrong), and also moved the start of the funding to October instead of September as it's nearly the end of the month.
