Funding for risk
Hey guys,
I would like to put an idea for the CCS. Funding is a process that needs to be addressed by the Monero Devs in the actual state. Why not create a "funding section for risk" only? That means that proponents could barely complete minimum requirements or a clear set of rules and submit their proposals and let the community entirely take responsibility if those proposals are funded or not.
By doing this we can eliminate the factor for the Monero Devs taking full responsibility for every idea submitted to the CCS. There could be a section especially for code, Monero intern repo work, Monero representatives, Monero devs, etc. That section could be specifically for the Monero devs to take care and behold trust for Monero code and have full discrimination (recognition and understanding of the difference between one thing and another) on which proposals are important for code and not for the community social market. Let me define community social market, e.g. people will want to submit a proposal for building an engine fully run by oxygen, I don't know, any crazy idea.
This could also eliminate the, "I won't work with someone". If the Monero Devs don't want to work with someone, they, by the efforts made inside the community can opt-in or opt-out of working with someone and choose whether to accept or deny a proposal inside the CCS "Devs" section and let the proponent add himself on the CCS "Risk" section. Just to give you an example. Those on the "Risk" section if they have a super proposal for the community and make it work, they will then will have to search for Monero Devs approval for merging their work to the code.
If this is something that the community can embrace and accept as an option to eliminate community conflicts/differences I think is worth working for.
Thank you.
