Who?
Hello, plowsof here, I show up and try to be helpful. My previous proposal happened, i would like to make it happen again, and do more of the same things.
What?
- Gather consensus for CCS proposals. (feedback from GitLab/IRC/Reddit).
- Organise bi-weekly meetings to discuss proposals / current events (more if necessary).
- Provide decisions in 1 month or less (Yes/No to being funded or if something has to be changed with the proposal to satisfy our community).
- Be impartial when communicating with CCS proposers - everyone gets a fair shake.
- Checking up on the WIP list to find / fix problems early (e.g. payments overdue or proposers AWOL).
- It has recently came to my attention that there is a seldom enforced CCS rule where "If it's not funded or finished by a certain time, the funds can be released to other proposals or the General Fund.. This keeps things moving along in a timely fashion.", one of my tasks will be to gather support for enforcing this rule where applicable.
- Take responsibility for the entire CCS process - It's my fault when 'things go wrong'.
- Someone who is online for several hours a day / 7 days a week that knows what's going on.
- Act as a liaison to Core - keep them informed of whats happening / poke them when required / handle their requests.
- As part of this CCS, you will also be sponsoring my work when quality assurance testing new features/bug fixes each release cycle in the GUI, CLI, and RPC wallets.
- And Getmonero.org contributions.
- Consultancy before / during / after the idea stage.
Funding
20hr/week - 40 eur/hr with XMR at 145EUR (MA20 @ Kraken) gives 72 but i like 69 better so 23 XMR/milestone bringing the total requested amount to 69XMR. Maximum of 1 milestone can be claimed per month. Price fluctuation after moving to funding will have no effect. Consider this proposal expired in the event of my untimely death / unheard of for >5 months / have not claimed all payouts in 12 months. If expired - all remaining unclaimed funds are to be donated to other CCS proposals.

All of which where graciously funded by donors via the CCS system, on bahalf of the recipients. thank you. Currently they are all progressing well other than the Monero-gui flatpak which is currently stalled pending the addition of a beta api key to monero-guis repo. selsta has been helping bigmenpixel with their pull request.

misc / testing / administrivia for the bp++ review is on-going. I have delayed payment for milestone 1 to ensure that nearly all CCS proposers have been taken care of first for this period, bar one, the flatpak gui which requires the beta api key still. vtnerds proposal looks to be going to the funding stage pending a meeting.
My own proposal received 1 large donation, I am both in awe from this and every other donation no matter how small, and terrified at the same time. Thank you to all who are supporting me!

These proposals where put forward and graciously funded by the community:

- j-berman full-time development (3 months)
- Continued Feather Wallet development (3 months)
- selsta part-time monero development (3 months)
We are also in the process of solving another 'in progress' proposal stuck in purgatory, namely monero integrations. After obtaining community approval it will be handed over to recanman.
*The 5 month payout delay for the previous debian maintenance proposal did not happen - however, it could have, as i did not follow up and ask if they had received payout / and if they had checked their wallet.
Things note worthy for this period (reaching out to auditors for Seraphis) would be alerting the MRL to the need for a more detailed scope of work (as most auditors required a follow up call) - jberman/koe/kayaba have since produced a draft which after approval can be sent out again. Feedback for the latest BP++ paper was also received from CypherStack. so both these tasks (sending emails to people) seems to be moving things in the right direction.
The last update left off on the 10th June with some interruptions in scheduled meetings due to Monerokon / IRC-Matrix bridge issues.

Issues being resolved:
- Maintaining FlatPak package - BigMenPixel has been waiting 3+ weeks to obtain a review/API key from a flathub maintainer, however, he has continued maintenance.
- BP++ peer review: has a new price of $32,000 which Core must handle (General Fund to contribute to the differene has been suggested).
- Waiting on ZKsecurity to make a concrete offer to work on the Seraphis security proofs.
- Core Monero Concepts: wishes to absorb 35XMR from Savandras proposal. Closing it in the process, and using the idle funds for their intended purpose requiring only 1XMR in donations.
- 36C3: i've been able to chase up the invoices. Approx 24,000 EUR outstanding (pending review). If this where paid today then the project would release about 129XMR from limbo - which would bring the CCS overfunding total to 374XMR.
